So, we wanted to build kind of where our trailer sits now but the planning dept of our county would not allow it! Funny how they can tell you what to do with your own land. I'll save that rant for another day. :)
So, we are building in the wooded lot next to our cleared lot. I took pictures two days ago because we have to have some of the land cleared to make room for the house. Here is a picture of the land as it was two days ago. If the rain holds off I will take a picture today and let you see the progress.
The good things about moving into the "woods" are we will be further from the main Hwy. We will be closer to Mema and we can make a path through the wood right to her back yard. :) The girls really like that idea. Mema has even said that she loves the idea of us being closer now that she is getting older. Not that we were not close to begin with it's just now we won't have to cross the dirt road. LOL!!!
In the pictures I'm standing in our side yard and you can see our dirt road. I wanted to get pictures with out the equipment but while I was napping with the girls I heard him moving the equipment in so I had to run out and take a few before he started clearing.
Seeing the lot being cleared is finally making this all real!
