Christmas Eve Traditions

Dinner & Presents at Mema's

Feeding Santa's Reindeer

Milk & Cookies for Santa
Reading About the Birth of Baby Jesus! The Real Christmas Story!

So this year we continued a few of the old traditions and added a couple of new one. As always we had dinner with Mema and opened presents at her house. Aunt C, Aunt S and Big Mema came this year which made it an extra special treat. The girls had a blast opening presents.
Feeding Santa's reindeer and leaving milk /cookies for Santa were new traditions. We have always read the Luke 2 story aloud with the girls and it will continue to be my favorite tradition!

Christmas pictures

Taking pictures of kids for a Christmas card can be a hoot... Here are some of the ones that did not work...
The last 3 pics are with little cousin baby R. The girls all have matching dresses for Christmas so we had to do a few pics at Mema's during Thanksgiving. I have never noticed how much the two R's favor till the last picture!

Thanksgiving Dinner @ PreSchool

The girls preschool does a huge Thanksgiving feast each year for the kids, parents and grandparents. It's really nice and they do this instead of a Christmas program. They understand that the month of Dec. for most is so busy. It's nice to see this holiday focused on with the kids. Here are a few pictures of the girls in their Pilgrim hats.

Just Be Glad I'm Not A Twin!!!!

So, in the world of multiples people will say the dumbest things to me when I'm out with the girls. The most common question I get is this, "Are they twins?" :) I always try to be polite when I say no they are TRIPLETS ... there are 3 of them!!!!!! :) Well, When I saw these shirts I had to get them for the girls. I figured most who knew us would get the joke. Not to mention we are glad they are triplets and not twins. :)

So, the day after I bought the shirts we go to town. I watch this lady read their shirts. She looks up at me and asks, "ARE THEY TWINS?" I smiled and said, "No, they are TRIPLETS!" She then look at me and said, "Oh, well I read their shirts so that's why I thought they were twins!"

I've come to the conclusion that people this day in age can not count or read! It's so sad!!! :)

Pictures of the house...

These pics of the house are for my dear friends who do not live close enough for a visit. Leann, don't faint I do keep the house this clean...most of the time! LOL!!!
