Hip Momma Shoes

So, now that I'm the big 30 I am trying to look a little better and dress more like a hip momma. Yesterday, I found these shoes. Most of the time when you see me I will have on flip flops unless there is snow on the ground but everyone needs change. Right? Well, I was in great need of a pair of black high heels and was shopping for a regular pair of shoes. I'm talking a 2" heel. Then I saw these and thought to myself...these are hip shoes...I could be hip if I wear these shoes! What was I thinking?!?!?!?! Why does being hip have to be so painful!!!!???? I wore the black ones last night to school with jeans and a cute top! I was so hip! Then by the time I got home my feet were in shock and swelling! Pain! My friend Hope who is young and hip...always in heels... told me I just need to break them in. Maybe I'll try again on Sunday! :) The sandals are not so bad so I may try them tomorrow...I would try tonight but my feet still hurt! :) So, Here's to being a hip momma!

Strawberries....

Today Mema and I took the girls strawberry picking with my mom, my sister, her two kids and Aunt C. It was so much fun and we were able to freeze about 18 quarts of strawberries for jam, cobblers and short cake. Yumm -O! The girls really liked eating the berries fresh out of the field...maybe we should of had them weighed before we picked and after they were done.

The House....

Friday B and I went and signed our lives away and it felt GREAT!!!!!! We have waited so long to have a house. He has worked so hard to provide for our family with my staying home with the girls and God has truly blessed his sacrifice of free time and energy.

I know I keep saying I will post pictures but I forgot the digital camera on our last trip to the builders and so we will be going on Monday so I hope to get a few pictures then.

It looks like we should be in the house by August so if anyone loves to paint come on over. LOL!!!

I have to tell on myself. During our years of infertility I was so drawn to the "baby" type shows on TLC & DHC. I would spend my time day dreaming about when I would finally have the chance to be a mom. Then when we found out it was multiples I could not find enough shows on multiples and preemie births...I wanted to be prepared and informed. Well I find my self drawn to the TV once more but the channels have changed. They are now HGTV, DIY and a few shows on TLC! I can's seem to get enough of the decorating shows....I may need help. LOL

Happy Easter

Today has been full of excitement and candy for the girls. We started with Easter Baskets....Then Sun Rise service at Church...Then off to Grandma Jeans for dinner and an Egg Hunt...Then melt down from sugar rush! Enjoy the Pictures! *by the way between each ... at least a pound of sugar was devoured!!!*

A New House...

It's official!!!! We are getting a new house!!!! Praise the Lord!!!! We have an apt. for next Wed. to sign the paper work. It will be a ranch style with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and a large family room. It's about 2100 square ft. which will seem like a castle compared to this trailer! LOL!!! Next week I will take pictures and post them so you can see what it will look like. Pray that every thing works out. We have to move this trailer, get the loan and land cleared to build on so there are several steps and I'm sure I don't know half of them. We should find all of it out next week.

I have been asked by my dear friend L to start a blog. Actually I have been thinking of it for a while and she was just the push I needed. I wish I had started this back when the girls were babies or I was pregnant....but I don't think they had blogs then.
I hope you will be patient with me as I post a few updates about the girls...the conception (G-Rated version), Pregnancy and Birth. Then I will try to catch you up on the last 4 years!!!!!!
